1. Guem "Tempo Rose"
A wonderful variety that impresses with its spectacular, extremely abundant flowering. It grows up to about 30-50 cm in height. The plant is a beautiful decoration of sunny flowerbeds, flower meadows, naturalistic gardens, as well as containers and pots. Forms dense, lush clumps of green, deeply lobed, hairy leaves. It starts flowering in May. Above the foliage appear delicate, pink flowers set on the tops of long, slender, maroon-red stems. The center of the flower is filled with yellow stamens and surrounded by a wreath of subtle, slightly wavy, pink petals with darker veining.
2. Geum coccineum "Koi"
A beautiful variety with deep orange flowers that are about 3-4 cm in diameter. It grows up to 30cm. This variety fills our garden with flowers from May to August. Sometimes it also blooms in October.
3. Geum "Coctail Banana Daiquiri"
Geum 'Cocktail Banana Daiquiri' is a beautiful variety that is characterized by its unique semi-double bright yellow flowers. It blooms in May, when not many perennials are in bloom yet. Early flowering time is also important for the bees, who do not have much food at this time. Like the previous variety, it grows up to about 30 cm.
4. Geum chiloense "Mrs Bradshaw"
A wonderful, evergreen perennial with charming, double flowers in an intense red color. Chilean geum 'Mrs Bradshow' grows to about 40-60 cm in height and 30-45 cm in width. From July to August, the plant is decorated with full scarlet-red flowers. They are gathered in paniculate, branched inflorescences. The red of the petals will be a great match with other flowers on the border. This variety has won the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for its outstanding garden qualities.
5. Geum "Cocktail Alabama Slammer"
From initially purple buds emerge in late spring and early summer ruffled, wrinkled golden flowers with red-orange petal edges and a golden center. The whole is complemented by light green leaves forming a low clump and burgundy colored flower shoots. The calyxes of the flowers also have a purple hue. The plant blooms profusely for about 3 weeks. During this time, up to 150 flowers can develop. It likes sunny but not too hot positions, slightly shaded during the hottest time of the day, with permeable, humus and moist soil with a slightly acidic reaction. To maintain abundant flowering, it is recommended to divide clumps every 3 - 4 years, in spring or autumn. I had this variety two years ago and the colors of the flowers are really impressive. It grows to about 30-45 cm.
